We try to keep all waste to a minimum and work with our suppliers to actively reduce the amount of packaging arriving on site. Recycling in the company began as an employee initiative back in 2002. Since then, we have brought all company operations into the fold, and we now recycle office and workshop waste. Our recycling includes: paper, cans, plastic, toner cartridges, PCs, glass, oil filters, tyres, and batteries etc. Our aim is to ensure that 100% of our waste is diverted from landfill. Currently, our recycling rate stands at over 80% (which does not include vehicle scrapage). As par of our commitment to reduce our impacts, we have specific aims:
We fully comply with all of the current environmental legislation, including the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations as well as the Hazardous Waste Regulations. The result is that batteries, fluorescent light bulbs and IT waste are handled by a registered waste carrier.   |      |
